Chairman Emeritus

On December 31, 1997, Mr. Barton retired as Chairman of the Board and CEO of WilsonMiller, Inc. culminating a 35-year career providing professional services for the land development industry. He was involved in the growth of WilsonMiller from 25 to 230+ employees. During his career, he served as Project Manager or Principal-in-Charge of projects having a construction value exceeding $300 million.

Alico, Inc.; (ALCO-NASDAQ) Member of the Board of Directors 1998 through March 2005. Also served on the Audit, Investment, and Compensation committees.
Barnett Bank of Naples; Member of the Board of Directors 1988 through 1996. Also served as member of the loan committee.

Village Banc of Naples; Founding Director and Vice Chairman of the Board from 1997 through 2001 when Village Bank was sold to Harris Trust.
Panther Island Mitigation Bank; Mr. Barton is a Principal and Chairman of the Management Committee of this 2,700 acre commercial mitigation bank.
