Mary Jane is currently a County Commissioner in Osceola County serving
her second term. She is the first and only woman elected to this position.
Mary Jane has been instrumental in promoting regionalism and the transportation
agenda for Osceola County. She presently serves on the Board of Metroplan Orlando,
Lynx, and the National Association of Counties Transportation Steering Committee.
She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Florida Association of Counties
and is Chair of the Growth and Environmental Planning Committee. She serves on the
Board of The Osceola Center for The Arts and Community Vision.
Mary Jane graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Public
Administration. She is an urban planner with the firm of CM Arrington and Associates,
Inc. She has been married to Curtis for 34 years; they have four children.
