With over 20 years of experience, he founded Phillips Development & Realty, LLC (PDR) in 2001, where he has been a leader in every aspect of the construction, management, financing and planning.

Mr. Phillips' proficient approach and skillful navigation of sensitive issues including rezoning, land assemblage, and mitigation of environmental and traffic concerns, has earned him the esteem of key leaders throughout the real estate industry. He is currently responsible for the development of $500M in new projects with PDR.

Along the course of his distinguished career, Mr. Phillips has built over 2,000 multi-family residential units as well as numerous municipal facilities, office and retail spaces, and medical facilities. Prior to PDR, Mr. Phillips served as Manager of Development and Acquisition at Hock Development, Inc. where he led the identification of prospective projects including office and medical facilities throughout the Southeast. Hock Development remarkably increased in market value with the leadership that Mr. Phillips provided.

Mr. Phillips is recognized for championing properties with peculiar problems and creating something better than anyone else could imagine. While other developers may become focused only on short-term profits, Mr. Phillips has always believed that the legacy we leave behind will annotate the purpose of our lives long after we are gone. A native of Raleigh, North Carolina, Mr. Phillips relocated and transitioned the headquarters of PDR to Tampa in 2003. Of the many developments he has completed, Mr. Phillips is most proud of is the YMCA in downtown Durham, NC, the dual towers of Mosaic in Houston, TX and Casa Bella in Tampa, Fl.
