Diane Gutierrez-Scaccetti was appointed to serve as the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise by Ananth Prasad, Secretary of the Department of Transportation in August 2011. The Enterprise, one of FDOT’s eight districts, is responsible for the statewide 460-mile Turnpike System, which is the largest user-financed transportation system in the State, and the second largest in the nation. It holds one of the highest bond ratings for turnpike or toll agencies. It provides toll collection operations on over 600 miles of toll roads and bridges owned by or under contract to the Florida Department of Transportation.
Diane is a proven leader who brings more than 20 years of toll road experience to the Florida Turnpike Enterprise; she previously served as Executive Director of the New Jersey Turnpike Authority, retiring after a 21-year career. She holds an Undergraduate Degree from the University of Connecticut and a Master’s of Science from Rutgers – the State University of New Jersey.
Diane is active with the International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association, and serves on the Board of the Transportation and Expressway Authority Members of Florida and the Executive Board of the Florida Department of Transportation.
