After years of experience in the transportation industry, Bob Hartnett co-founded Transportation and Expressway Authority Membership of Florida (TEAMFL) in 1997. He recognized the need for Florida’s Expressway Authorities and Florida’s Turnpike to join together with other related agencies and businesses to share information and exchange ideas.
Bob brings a wealth of legislative and community experience to TEAMFL’s vast membership. He has served as a member of the Florida House of Representatives, during which time he chaired the Banking & Finance Committee for three terms. In the government arena, he has represented various entities such as the Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority, Lynx, Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, as well as cities such as Coral Gables and Winter Park.
As an active member of the community, Bob has served as a volunteer on many boards and committees. He previously served as a member of the Vizcaya Foundation and Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation. He also served on WMFE Board of Directors, Affordable Housing Advisory Committee of Orange County, and Boys & Girls Club of Central Florida Board of Directors.
A native of Coral Gables, Bob received his BBA degree in Political Science from the University of Miami. He also holds a Real Estate Broker’s License and now resides in Winter Park, Florida with his wife, Betty.
